Amir Bell & Hashim Moore impressions.

Less than a full day after traveling up north to watch Princeton recruit Spencer Weisz in person for the first time, I was able to make a shorter but equally rewarding trip into Princeton this afternoon to see future Tiger Amir Bell and undefeated East Brunswick face Hashim Moore and 13-4 The Hun School.

My observations and Robert Solomon's photos follow after the jump.

You may want to read the site's original profiles of Amir Bell and Hashim Moore for further information on each player plus quotes from each's coaches and many a video.

Spencer Weisz impressions.

For the first time since when Tom Noonan was a senior in high school, I had a chance to catch a game featuring a current Princeton recruit in person.

Choosing Shabazz over Shabbat, I took the train up to Essex County on Friday night in order to watch Spencer Weisz and Seton Hall Prep host Newark's Malcolm X Shabazz.

My observations and Robert Solomon's photos follow after the jump.

The site's original recruiting profile of Weisz can be found here.

Media Day 2012.

Delayed a week by Hurricane Sandy, Princeton held its annual preseason Media Day at Jadwin Gym this snowy and blustery afternoon.

Coach Mitch Henderson, Ian Hummer, Will Barrett, Hans Brase and T.J. Bray spoke to princetonbasketball.com about the upcoming season. A number of questions raised earlier today were answered along the way.

In both queries asked and answers given this was one of the better Media Days in some time.

25 Robert Solomon photos have since been added to this post, plus some details on a couple of potential roster additions and observations in addition to the audio which follows after the jump.

If you're interested in inside access like this all season long, please consider becoming a site member.

Proxima parada, Espana!

Princeton departs for Spain tomorrow evening, where they'll be playing four games against top-tier Spanish opponents beginning Friday, while experiencing a fair bit of off-the-court culture during a 10 day oversea trip.

On the eve of their journey - the first such foray out of the country for more than one in their party - head coach Mitch Henderson opened practice to the media and answered 10 minutes of my questions afterwards.

I also had a chance to speak with returning Tigers Brendan Connolly, Clay Wilson and Ian Hummer, who each have varying degrees of experience with international travel not to mention comfort levels with speaking Spanish.

Robert Solomon joined me on this visit at Jadwin. His photos, plus a number of observations and the aforementioned interview audio, can all be found after the jump.
