Another no-decision for Chris Young, who left after six innings with the Padres and Diamondbacks knotted at three. San Diego won 4-3 in 10 innings.

Chris Young rebounded from his poor showing five days ago with seven innings of quality one run ball against the Dodgers, but San Diego could not provide him with a lead. The Padres fell 2-1 in 10 innings.

Did you know May 1st was officially declared Craig Robinson Day in Chicago? The Oregon State head coach was in the Land of Lincoln to be inducted into the the Mount Carmel Alumni Hall of Fame.

CBS 2 caught up with Robinson while he was in town.

Princeton recruit Ian Hummer will suit up for the East All-Stars on May 9th for the Feinberg Academic All-American Basketball Classic in Ontario, CA.

Will Venable hit his 5th home run of the season in Portland's 5-4 extra inning loss to Reno last night. Venable also had a tie-breaking double that helped the Beavers to a 7-4 win over Salt Lake earlier in the week.
