Princeton NCAA Press Conference.

The afternoon before Princeton's NCAA Tournament game against Kentucky, Tigers Ian Hummer, Dan Mavraides, Kareem Maddox and Douglas Davis answered the media's questions.

Princeton's four double digit scorers were soon followed to the podium by their head coach Sydney Johnson.

Photos and videos from the Tigers' just-concluded open practice on the floor of the St. Pete Times Forum are coming soon.

Our Know! Your! Foe! interview series is back with a special NCAA Tournament "Second Round" edition. Rob Pedigo from Kentucky sports site Tailgate Review and I will be trading Q&As on the eve of the Wildcats' first meeting with Princeton since 1977.

To kick things off, Rob answers to my questions. I'll send him responses to his inquiries about the Princeton Tigers later this afternoon.

Is it fair to say Kentucky is playing their best basketball of the season heading into the NCAA Tournament?

Yes, as a team, Kentucky played as well as they have all year in the SEC Tournament. Freshman Terrence Jones did not play as well as he has during the season, but the team was as good as a whole as it has been all year.

Inside Princeton's upset of UCLA.

Sean Gregory from Time Magazine takes readers inside Princeton's 1996 upset of UCLA. Gregory talked to everyone - from Reggie Miller (sans backwards light blue baseball cap) to players on both sides to fans in the stands at the RCA Dome that day to the photographer of the iconic image above.

1977: Kentucky 72 Princeton 58.

It has been 34 years and two days since the Princeton Tigers and Kentucky Wildcats last met. The location was the Palestra in West Philadelphia and the circumstance was - like it will be again on Thursday - the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

I did research this afternoon on this prior postseason pairing and had Princeton's leading scorer that day, Frank Sowinski, flesh out a few of the details for me.

The Ivy League held its Men's Basketball Postseason Media Teleconference this morning, with Princeton head coach Sydney Johnson, senior forward Kareem Maddox and senior guard Dan Mavraides answering questions from media.
