Princeton recruit Gus Gabel scored 19 as Chaparral advanced to the Class 4A Division I semifinals.

Northwestern (15-11) pulled away from Indiana in the second half, defeating the Hoosiers 75-53. The Wildcats won in Bloomington for the first time since 1968. They were 0-33 at Assembly Hall before last night.

Richmond (15-13) defeated Fordham by 10. It was the Spiders' third straight win.

Denver visits Louisiana-Monroe tonight.

The Colorado Springs Gazette writes that Joe Scott has the Pioneers on the winning path.

It looks like both Northwestern and Richmond will be paying in the NIT. Northwestern has had a tremendous season. If they had not blown two big leads down the stretch - Illinois and Purdue - they would have probably won a first ever NCAA bid. I expect that they will go along way in the NIT. Even when Princeton does not make a post-season tournament, it's great to watch the "Princeton offense" at work.
