More classic Princeton photos.

I'm delighted to share with you 11 additional photographs from the collection of David Zeft, the majority of which are from mid-1990s games at The Palestra. Some in this set do also date from the early 1980s.

Click any and all to enlarge. Above, a driving Jamie Mastaglio with Pete Carril, Bill Carmody, Armond Hill and Joe Scott watching from behind the referee on the bench.

This image, also seen on the wall at Conte's, is from a Penn/Princeton game at Jadwin Gym. It was taken during the 1995-96 season when the coaching staff included Bill Carmody, Joe Scott, John Thompson III and Pete Carril.

Seated from left to right are Jesse Rosenfeld, Gabe Lewullis, Sean Gregory and Mitch Henderson.

A slashing Chris Doyal.

Craig Robinson versus Duke at Jadwin.

Rick Hielscher, unaware of the approaching Tim Krug behind him.

The image led me to this article from the end of Hielscher's freshman year prior to the Tigers' NCAA Tournament game versus Syracuse.

Notice a standing Mike Brennan in the bottom right of the shot.

John Thompson III as a freshman at Rutgers.

Pete Carril and Bill Bradley talking at a 1990 reception honoring the 1965 Final Four team.

The always agape Steve Goodrich.

Sean Jackson.

Rich Simkus with a hook shot.

Instead of The Palestra, a 1983 meeting between Princeton and Penn was held at The Spectrum as part of a doubleheader. Craig Robinson scored 19 points in a 60-49 Tiger triumph. Here Pete Carril meets the media afterwards.

Thanks Jon--these are fantastic. I especially like the one of the four successive head coaches standing together. Iconic.
