Mitch Henderson discusses the CBI.

Things are exceptionally hectic at Jadwin Gym as Princeton scrambles to get to Evansville, IN later today in advance of Tuesday evening's CBI matchup with the host Purple Aces.

Head coach Mitch Henderson took a brief respite from frantic preparation to talk with local media this morning and audio from that availability is posted above.

Evansville is south of Princeton, Indiana, and north of Henderson, Indiana. Clearly of no significance at all.

Also, about an hour from Coach Henderson's boyhood home!

Interesting that he compared Evansville's style of play to Penn, because I looked at Pomeroy's stats profiles of Evansville's players and saw several Penn players listed among the recent players with similar stats profiles. Here are the recent Ivy players that had similar profiles to current Evansville players:

Colt Ryan: Norawu Agho, Tyler Bernardini
Kenneth Harris: Steve Danley
Denver Holmes: Miles Cartwright
Troy Taylor: Chris Skrelja

I was going to ask Henderson how Evansville compared to Wagner (some similarities on paper) but he mentioned Penn before I got the question out.

When turnovers were mentioned in the interview, I immediately thought of the Wagner game (and a chill went up and down my spine).

Re turnovers: since Evansville is a smaller team to begin with, might this point to Mack Darrow geting the majority of the minutes at center tonight?

My guess is Princeton starts Connolly because of the size advantage but if he's turning the ball over Darrow will get the larger half of the 40 minutes they share.
