Coach Mitch Henderson - 3/28/12.

In the extended "season finale" of their weekly interview series, Tigers head coach Mitch Henderson and princetonbasketball.com editor Jon Solomon sat down courtside at Jadwin Gym this afternoon for a seventeenth and final time on the year.

Solomon and Coach Henderson looked back on Princeton's CBI games at Evansville and Pittsburgh in great detail before touching on the season as a whole, including if there was a specific point where Henderson realized his team could actually be pretty good and if there was a defining moment for the year.

Henderson also discusses if it is possible to carry over the season’s strong finish through the summer, heading to the Final Four this weekend, what he hopes to get out of that trip, who he wants to bump into in New Orleans, if he and his staff are done recruiting for the class of 2012 and for the first time provides details on the team's planned foreign trip this summer.

This exclusive Q&A is 23:00+ in length and can be streamed after the jump.

Feel free to also explore a full archive of Solomon and Henderson's weekly discussions from 2011-12.

If you have questions for future interviews, please feel free to send them here.

Great job by you and Coach Henderson.

Now that eyes turn to 2012-3, any early word on scheduling? We've heard about the game Fordham at the new Brooklyn arena. I'd be astonished if we did not play Rutgers at home and Lafayette in Easton. Any other gimmes or done deals out there?

Thanks, Stuart.

If the Towson return visit happens at Jadwin in 2012-13 and Princeton has return games with the teams they're expected to have return games with next year (at Buffalo, at Elon, at Lafayette, vs. Rutgers, vs. Drexel, vs. Rider) that's seven more opponents in addition to Fordham and a DIII game makes nine foes overall.

This leaves room for a few guarantee games or another preseason tournament.

It would also assure at least 12 home tilts on the schedule.

Ps. I neglected to include Northeastern in the above list of potential return games.

Jon: I just had a chance to listen to this interview. I am disappointed that recruting seems to be over for 2012. I was hopeful that we would land a pure point guard.

Barry,

With T.J. Bray likely playing 32+ minutes/game, I don't think point guard is as much a 2012 recruiting concern as it is a 2013 recruiting concern.

I'm personally of the mindset that you try and bring in one more player (at least) than was in your graduating class but it does not appear that will be the case this year.

Jon
