(More) Brian Earl highlights.

The same video package we posted on Monday, but with clips added at the start from Princeton's 1999 NIT win over Georgetown.

Earl led the Tigers in that game with 18 points on 4-8 shooting from the field and a 7-9 evening at the free throw line.

This earns Brian his own category on the site. I'll update older posts that mention him accordingly.

Brian's mental toughness was unique. His concentration and confidence in the last 10 seconds of the shot clock was something I've never seen elsewhere. He could be guarded at 23 feet and step back to 26 and make it. He was not one of those guys (like Dell Curry or Dennis Scott) who resided at the 3 point line and drove you crazy with 3's but never responded when the defense recognized the threat. When the opportunity opened the drive, he took it, ignoring and overcoming the fact that he was smaller and probably slower than the guys trying to catch up with him. It really was a privilege to watch him play for Princeton.
