Monday News:

Dave Blatt coached Russia to a 77-74 upset of Spain. Over the weekend Blatt was profiled by the Star Ledger.

The Russians finished at the top of Group B with a 4-1 record, losing at the buzzer to Australia this morning.

A 2013 power forward from northern New Jersey has narrowed his list of suitors to 13 schools, including Princeton.

As of four days ago, the Tigers were still looking to add a "guarantee game" to the 2012-13 schedule.

That's the amount the big-time BCS conference host school would be paying the lower conference school (in this case Princeton) for the honor to come to their arena and lose.

Of course, sometimes that doesn't go as the hosts planned...
