Monday News:

This year's Blue Ribbon preview for Princeton has been published, but you need ESPN Insider status to read it. I've posted a capsule summary in the forum.

Tigers head coach Mitch Henderson is one of several athletes and sports announcers to make significant political contributions in September.

Getting the start in Italy, Dan Mavraides had 13 points on 5-6 shooting as Avellino defeated Vanoli. Some highlights can be viewed here.

Nicely done, Coach!

Amen, Mitch. Not sure that this is a uniting issue, but I'm glad that we are on the same side. I also noticed that Chris Clement and Mack Darrow were present to greet First Lady on her recent visit to Princeton.

In the spirit of bipartisanship I'll continue to support Coach Henderson because I'm sure he will lead the team the right way.

I just saw that the CBS Sports Ivy preview has Bray on their list of top 5 players - First time I've seen one of these types of things show him some love.

...and yet he refers to Bray as a "wing" player.

Yeah saw that and willfully ignored it...Better than when an ESPNU reporter asked Dan Mavraides if it was special to beat Yale his "final year" while he was a still a junior. I'm assuming the CBS sports guy just saw Bray's height and figured he was a wing. It's a good problem to have.
