Around the Ivy League: Yale (5-10) had a nice 61-54 win at Holy Cross. Brown (4-8) struggled shooting the ball in the Bears' 59-47 loss at Rhode Island.

Don't remember much about the Elon game, although I did meet some very nice people who had made the trip, parents I suppose. It was a little unsettling that they did not seem all that daunted by the prospect of taking on the defending Ivy champions on Carril Court. Later, it occurred to me why: they knew what they had and I did not. This is an excellent program on the way up. You can be quite sure that our guys will not be surprised by anything that happens this afternoon.

I mostly remember 19 offensive rebounds for the Tigers and Hummer going 8-15 at the line...
