Friday News:

Fairfield vs. Loyola (Md.) - 7:00 pm ET - ESPNU

Denton Koon and Princeton are set for tomorrow's conference opener.

The Daily Pennsylvanian and Daily Princetonian both offer articles in advance of Saturday's game.

There's also a profile of Ian Hummer in the Trenton Times.

Our friends at Big Apple Buckets ran 10,000 simulations of the upcoming Ivy League schedule.

Future Tiger Spencer Weisz had a triple-double in yesterday's Seton Hall Prep victory.

Princeton recruit Peter Miller is playing his first games of the season after returning from an injury. See his stats to-date here.

Mercer (13-4) topped Burlington last night, 71-62.

Leading by as many as 23 in the second half, Northwestern (10-6) won 70-54 at Penn State.

Denver (8-7) recorded their fourth straight victory, 55-49 over Idaho on the road.

Arizona topped Oregon State (10-5) by 10.

Just one game on the docket for this evening as Fairfield visits Loyola (Md.).

Great post...lots of useful information and links. One of the Daily Pennsylvanian articles should find its way to our locker room bulletin board. Seems many of the Quaker faithful are not all that impressed by the exploits of Team Hummer. The up-to-date postings regarding next year's freshman class are most welcome. This may be the most talented group to arrive at the same time since the 90's. Hope that Miller kid can bulk up...

Reader quiz: Which member of the Carril coaching tree who has not yet taken his current school to the NCAA tournament will do so first (ties this year are allowed)?

My bet would be on Mitch Henderson. After that...Joe Scott or Sydney in a tie. I'd love for Carmody to prove me wrong this year, but it isn't looking good even with the big win over Penn State. And I don't see anything to date that makes me think Craig Robinson's program is breaking through the plateau he initially raised it to.

Silly, but still good:

As for the above, my money would be on Henderson as well.
