Coach Sydney Johnson - 3/16/10.

Tigers head coach Sydney Johnson and princetonbasketball.com editor Jon Solomon were able to find a free morning in their respective busy schedules to tape a 20:00+ one-on-one interview in advance of tomorrow night's CBI game.

Johnson and Solomon break down Princeton's last three games of the regular season against Dartmouth, Harvard and Penn, then delve into how the team spent their five days in limbo before receiving word about the postseason and conclude by talking about what to expect when the Duquesne Dukes visit on Wednesday.

I just called the Ticket Office and found out that they have only sold ~ 160 tickets to the game tomorrow. Time to redouble the word-of-mouth efforts!

It's a tough time to get to a game if you are an out of towner.

Jon, do you know what the economics of the CBI are? Does Princeton pay to play or, does the University get a piece of the gate and TV revenue? I can't imagine that there is much revenue even if the game is televised. Except for a few hard core Tigers and Dukes, very few people will care about this game.

Nevertheless, GO TIGERS!

John,

Home teams in the CBI pay to host those games, then there's a profit split of the gate after the break even point. I do not know how TV revenue is handled.

Jon
