Thursday News:

It is reported that Chris Mooney will interview for the open BC job today. An interview with Cornell coach Steve Donahue yesterday went "extremely well" according to a source.

A contract extension for Mooney at Richmond lacks only his signature.

Great reporting by Brendan Prunty at the Star Ledger, creating a timeline of how Seton Hall hired Kevin Willard. Mooney and Donahue are both part of this intertwined story.

The Town Topics talks with Sydney Johnson and Marcus Schroeder about the end of Princeton's season.

Even Bill Carmody, who could benefit from NCAA Tournament expansion, is against the idea.

Denver coach Joe Scott discusses his team's improvements and where the Pioneers go from here.

Jon,

Given the NCAA's press conference earlier this afternoon about a very likely 96-team field and the possibility of auto-bids for regular season champs, do you have any idea what the Ivy League's reaction will be? Conference tournament? Next year?

Once we know more in a few weeks, it would be interesting to hear Coach J's thoughts on the situation in your late-April/May interview.

I'll be curious to see what comes out of the Final Four coaches' meetings. Will be sure to ask Coach Johnson about this issue when he gets back from Indianapolis.
