Coach Joe Scott - 2/15/07.

interview audio - 32:23

Princeton head coach Joe Scott and princetonbasketball.com editor Jon Solomon met up at Jadwin Gym to discuss Princeton's three most recent games versus Harvard, Dartmouth and Penn, and to look ahead at this weekend's Ivy League tilts against Cornell and Columbia.

Some of the topics discussed include:

-The double overtime win versus Harvard and why everything operated faster offensively for the Tigers on Friday night.

-Noah Savage’s return to the starting lineup.

-If intangibles and toughness are greater priorities for Coach Scott than scoring is.

-Saturday’s game against Dartmouth and if fatigue affected the Tigers’ free throw shooting.

-Knowing in advance last Saturday that Kyle Koncz would not be available and if that changes the players’ mindset at all.

-The inability to stop Harvard and Dartmouth’s leading scorers and if there were adjustments that should have been made but weren’t.

-Princeton’s performance at Penn and the five missed chances the Tigers had to take the lead in the second half.

-How Coach Scott evaluates the performance of his freshmen at the Palestra.

-If Princeton prepares for Cornell and Columbia to try different things on offense and defense than they did the first time both teams met.

-If either Kyle Koncz or Edwin Buffmire be available this weekend.
