Saturday News:

Last year Princeton's controlled preseason scrimmages were against two opponents now on this season's schedule - Towson and Siena. Curious to know who the Tigers will face behind closed doors at Jadwin this month? Unless Princeton has posted an erroneous listing, I've uncovered the answer.

Georgetown held its annual Midnight Madness event at McDonough Arena last night with special live guest Wale. A 2012 big man, one of numerous prospects on-hand, verbally committed to join John Thompson III's program before the night was over.

The previous afternoon was Media Day for the Hoyas. The Washington Post and the Hoya have reports.

Georgetown will head to Hawaii in 2011 for an expanded Maui Invitational. Chaminade is hosting Duke, Kansas, Memphis, Michigan, Tennessee and UCLA in a stacked tournament.

John Templon from Chicago College Basketball stopped by Northwestern's early evening scrimmage at SPAC.

Oregon State also has a report from their first full team practice of 2010-11.

Richmond coach Chris Mooney was named one of Style Weekly's Top 40 Under 40 2010.

Man, you are GOOD at finding things you aren't supposed to. Any idea what the second scrimmage is?

Less than a month left!

If history holds to form, the other controlled scrimmage will be away from home.

Don't know the location, but if I hear anything I'll be sure to post the info.
