T.J. Bray highlights.

A reader was kind enough to send a DVD of Princeton freshman T.J. Bray's final game as a high school senior my way. Back in March of this year Bray scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Catholic Memorial won the WIAA Division 2 state title over Maple Northwestern.

I've spent my evening cutting this tape of Wisconsin's 2010 Mr. Basketball down to just under 10 minutes of offensive and defensive highlights.

Catholic Memorial are in the white uniforms and Bray is wearing #20.

With so little out of practice about the Tigers' frosh, hopefully these clips will whet your appetite as we approach the season opener.

Definitely like what I saw of TJ Bray on this video. Well recall several years ago a remark by then Penn coach Fran Dunphy about how he still had nightmares seeing Mitch Henderson throwing backdoor bounce passes off the dribble.

Given Bray's talent for passing and the fact that he is a natural lefty, hope we can expect some other coaches to have similar nightmares for the next four years.

Two weeks until tipoff. Any bets on who will handle the jump for Princeton?

Watching the whole game to edit this package (iMovie, I hate you slightly less than I did 24 hours ago), I was impressed with Bray's poise when surrounded or when dribbling through close quarters, something that stuck out when I viewed previous highlights.

My prediction: The person starting at center for Princeton will not be the person jumping center for Princeton!
