It had been all but done since November, but yesterday it was made public that Northwestern head coach Bill Carmody had signed a two year extension with the Wildcats.

Ian Hummer represents Princeton in the 10th Ivy League Men's Basketball Weekly Release of the season.

Both Princeton and Harvard are "hot" according to ESPN's Mark Adams.

Fresh on the heels of my +/- number crunching, Ken Pomeroy has a treatise about why this stat is not a great tool for analysis.

Ken Pomeroy is surprised there's randomness? Does a .250 hitter go 1-for-4 every game?

If you want to make an argument against +/-, the fact that there are short-term fluctuations from long-term trends is not one of them.
