Thursday News:

Mitch Henderson's hiring is written about in the Town Topics.

As of yesterday morning Henderson is the proud owner of a new Wikipedia page (not my doing). Here's a senior year profile from the Daily Princetonian that was passed my way.

Bob Kleinert, where are you now?

Princeton recruit Bobby Garbade was named Class B Fourth Team All State by the New York State SportsWriters Association.

Armond Hill and David Blatt make ESPN's list of NBA head coaching candidates.

2011 NCAA attendance statistics have been released. Princeton was the top non-BCS draw in New Jersey for whatever that is worth.

That Prince article is a great find, especially considering the following prophetic quote: "I've never thought about coaching, but if I would ever want to coach, I'd want to coach here," Henderson says. "I like what we do as a basketball program."

I was unaware the Prince had archives online dating that far back. Some cringe-worthy writing on my part, but I distinctly remember sitting down with Mitch at Chancellor Green to conduct the bulk of the interview. He was open, honest and enthusiastic. Reading his comments over the last week, he doesn't seem to have to have changed much.

Prince archives go back to 1876 so you can trace the entire history of Princeton basketball. On a different note, Dave Blatt is on the ESPN potential NBA coaches as well as Armond.

Thanks, Bob. I've added Dave's name above.
