Cornell hung in there against a weaker than usual Indiana team (lost to St. Josephs by 30 last week, beat Charminade by one) but have no scoring threats other than Wittman outside and Reeves inside. Wittman is a special player who will dominate the league for the next two years as he did last year. But without Gore and Dale Cornell showed a lot of the problems that Princeton has had for the past few years - no one who could create shots. Penn appears down again. Harvard is much better, but overall this appears to be a historically bad year for the Ivies. It will be interesting to see how Princeton does against South Carolina this week. When will the Ivies have another strong mid-major program that can compete on a national level?
