Did anyone see Northwestern destroy previously undefeated Florida State last night? Northwestern is now 6-1 and last night was Carmody's 200 win. He has been on the hot seat. Hopefully, this will be the year that Northwestern finally turns it around.

David,

I watched the second half. Northwestern ran the "chin" set again and again (and again) against the Florida State man-to-man. It was fun to watch.

If Northwestern can beat DePaul at home this weekend, they'll have capped of a very tough week in impressive fashion.

I also saw the game and it appears Northwestern is much more uptempo then in past years. It just proves that the Princeton offense can be used in many different tempos and shouldn't get stereotyped as a slowdown, antiquated offense. I hope Northwestern can post a winning record in the big 10 this year and make their first ever appearance in the NCAA's.
