In lieu of a Know! Your! Foe! (several reporters contacted, none responded): Kent State is the anti-Wagner in many ways. They're rather solid offensively yet weaker defensively. The Golden Flashes hold onto the basketball very nicely and are dominant on the offensive glass but seem to have their troubles defending inside the arc and forcing turnovers. <\/p>\n

Chris Evans is their Ian Hummer, a 6'8\" senior forward who leads his team in almost all available statistical categories but Evans gets serious support from classmate Randal Holt out of the backcourt. You'll see them both on the floor for most of the night and they're good for 34.1 combined points. <\/p>\n

KSU has defeated Drexel at home and won in Nebraska's gym. Both their losses were versus KenPom Top 100 teams, Temple by 14 and Valpo in OT.<\/p>\n
