Wednesday News:

C. Young (1-0) 5.2 IP 9 H 2 ER 2 BB 4 K 3.38 ERA. 106 pitches, 72 strikes.

Chris Young picked up his first major league victory in over a year as the Mets rallied for an 11-2 win at Tampa. Young teetered in the first inning but recovered nicely, allowing his team to stay in the game. It was Young's 50th career W.

Young's former teammate Will Venable, seen here (video) making a terrific diving catch, still trails his father in one key area.

Princeton recruit Mike Washington Jr. picked up a significant honor at his high school and earned several scholarships for his collegiate education.
