Princeton has updated the heights and weights for its 2011-12 roster.

All returning players came back to the team for the second straight year.

Annual "tale of the tape" adjustments from 2010-11:

J. Sherburne: +7 lbs
T. Bray: -1 inch, -2 lbs
B. Hazel: +1 lb
C. Clement: +7 lbs
J. Comfort: -1 inch, -1 lb
D. Davis: -7 lbs
P. Saunders: +5 lbs
W. Barrett: +9 lbs
T. Noonan: -1 inch, +7 lbs
M. Darrow: +5 lbs
I. Hummer: +4 lbs
D. Edwards: -7 lbs
B. Connolly: -3 lbs

Davis and Saunders are this year's captains.

Connolly and Garbade are the only players on the roster listed as a center.

To paraphrase Ian Hummer at Media Day, it is crazy he's the tenth-tallest player on this team.

Questions and comments--

1) Koon and Garbade are listed an inch taller than the stats thrown around during recruiting, IIRC. Genuine growth or creative measurement?

2) Loved Hummer's comment about being 10th tallest. If you want to push the absurdity up a notch, the Tigers' starting center 6 years ago, Justin Conway, would have been the 14th tallest on this team.

I'd say Garbade's height is fair (he's a big dude) but having stood next to Koon I was surprised that he appeared to be closer to a 6'5" wing than I expected. Sounds like he will be initially used as such.

Good to see that comforts height is more realistic this year and someone fix Clement's scale - he still weighs 175.

Thanks for this post. Any thoughts you might share regarding a possible rotation at the outset of the season? Will any of the freshmen see significant playing time? Hard to belive that November 12 is just days away.

I'm not one for depth charts, but it sounds like the replacement of Mavraides will be "by committee" (I presume this committee to include Hazel, Bray and Sherburne among others) and that freshman Denton Koon will get a real chance to earn some minutes. I had thought he would be more of a "4" but it appears he has some wing/guard skills that could create problems for the opposition.

Players and coaches all expect Connolly to take a big step in 2011-11.
