Aaron Young joins class of 2014.

Fresh on the heels of Mike LeBlanc committing to Princeton comes word that 6'0" point guard Aaron Young from Virginia Episcopal School has pledged to the Tigers. Young reportedly chose Princeton over Brown, Fairfield and Loyola of Maryland.

While I'm emailing his high school coach for quotes, watch a full game video here.

Full 2012-13 season highlights for VES includes plenty of Young's work. He's wearing #2 in the clips. More videos after the jump.

The full VISAA Division II championship game, which VES lost to Christchurch in overtime.

Young spent time at George Mason High School and 2011-12 with John Paul the Great. Here he is talking about the latter prior to that season.

Looks like Henderson is really solidifying the point guard position for the future.
Now let's get a good big man or two.

Amen to previous comment.

As of now I count eight guards (six of whom will be underclassmen) on our roster for 2014-2015:
'15: Wilson
'16: Washington
'17: Cook, Moore, Weitz, and Raynor
'18: Bell and Young

With the exception of Steve Cook and Hashim Moore, who could swing to small forwards, this seems like a lot of bench time for some talented guards. Is MH drifting toward a faster, shorter three guard offense?

At the same time, it appears that we will be thin in numbers (and/or size) at forward and center. We need another big, strong center and talented power forward to have any chance of matching up against improving Ivy rivals.

Verbalcommits.com lists Alec Brennan 6'10" 235 power forward consensus 3-star Milton Academy as highly interested in Princeton. He is also being recruited by Purdue. We can only hope.....
