Georgetown center Greg Monroe was the seventh selection in yesterday's NBA Draft, rejoining former teammate DaJuan Summers in Detroit.

The Hoyas have annonuced their Big East conference matchups for 2010-11. NJ/NY/PA fans will have many chances to see John Thompson III's team in action at Seton Hall, at St. John's, at Rutgers and at Villanova.

Any chance we are going to get a preview from Coach J on the schedule and incoming freshmen over the summer, or are we going to have to hold our collective breaths until September?

This interview is on both my agenda and Coach Johnson's. A date has not been confirmed, but it will happen at some point over the summer. Don't worry!

princetonbasketball.com was founded on April 28th, 1998 in an attempt to provide fans of the Princeton Tigers and Ivy League basketball with the best on-line source for up-to-date news and information. We have since expanded to launch a companion site, Georgetown Basketball News.

As these sites have continued to grow we have increased our coverage to include additional teams with Princeton connections - the Richmond Spiders, Denver Pioneers, Oregon State Beavers, Fairfield Stags and Mercer County Community College Vikings - plus former Tigers playing professional baseball and basketball all over the world. This site is not directly affiliated with the Friends of Princeton Basketball, Princeton University or the Princeton athletic department.
