Princeton at Duke on November 14.

Hello

Looks like I won't be headed to Milwaukee in November after all!

Princeton will be playing Duke, not Marquette, to start the College Basketball Experience on November 14th.

While Marquette was mentioned as the likely destination for Princeton as recently as the Friends of Princeton Basketball event during reunions on May 30th, it was stressed then that nothing was 100% set in stone, despite what the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel had reported.

The Tigers' next three round robin games in the CBE will occur the following week at either at James Madison or Miami (OH). There is no official word on who the other teams in each pool will be.

Jon:

Do you know the time for the game yet??? I could possibly drive down from Baltimore to see it.

No time is known yet.

I'd guess evening/televised.

Here are the other teams participating that will not advance to the Kansas City semis: Miami (OH), James Madison, Presbyterian, IUPUI, San Diego State, Bucknell and UW Green Bay.

Miami will host IUPUI and UW-GB plus one more team (which could be Princeton).

James Madison hosts the three other schools.

Thanks for the scheduling news, Jon. This will be a fun game to attend and a most difficult early test for the Tigers. I am looking forward to it. Please let us know if you hear anything about the University offering tickets exclusively for Princeton fans.
