Friday News:

Mercer vs. Harvard - 7:00 pm ET

The Princeton Packet files their report on the Iona game, focusing on the contributions of senior guard Matt Sargeant.

Northwestern (0-1) rallied in the second half to tie their season opener with Stanford before the Cardinal pulled away late for the 71-60 victory. The Wildcats were outrebounded by 21.

Georgetown (2-0) raced out to 12-0 and 28-7 leads against Michigan, coasting to a 74-52 win.

We're working on a full story about the fifth member of next year's Princeton recruiting class, but you can learn on your own about this new name here.

"I am Matt's very proud uncle. He hung in there through two tough years, putting in his hours on the court and in the conditioning room. Thank goodness, he is now getting the chance to contribute to the Princeton basketball program. You can bet on better things to follow! "

Proud you should be, too. It's great to have a young man with such character playing at the top of the key!
