Rider returns to Princeton's schedule.

For the first time since a painful 62-59 loss in 2002 at the Sovereign Bank Arena, Princeton appears to be scheduling the Rider Broncs again.

There had been talks of Mercer County's two Division I basketball teams meeting last season, but a date could not be finalized. This year's game is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, December 14th, 2011.

The location of this contest is not completely clear, but it looks like a short road trip for the Tigers.

Rider had a 23-11 record in 2010-11, finishing 107th in RPI, 120th in Sagarin and 136th in Pomeroy.

Other than being disappointed with the final score I recall being disappointed with the attendance - 3000 give or take. I recall telling a Rider friend that Spencer Gloger was the best ballplayer on the court. But something was missing that year.

All the Harvey Yavener hype pieces couldn't help attendance at the SBA that year.

I'd love for the 2011 game to be played at The Broncs' Zoo as the front end of a home and home series.
