Cornell announced that due to Princeton's exam schedule, the Ivy League opener between the Big Red and the Tigers would be moved up two weeks.
This alteration is not unprecedented but it is also not common over recent seasons. The previous two times Princeton opened conference play before breaking for exams didn't work out well for the Tigers: Swept at Columbia and Cornell in 2007 and a split with Cornell and Columbia at Jadwin in 2006. Prior to that the orange and black bested both Harvard and Dartmouth on the road in January 2002.
