Princeton held its 2006 Media Day on Monday afternoon. Coach Joe Scott took over thirty-four minutes of questions from reporters before players came out for individual interviews. princetonbasketball.com was able to talk to seniors Luke Owings and Justin Conway and had a brief conversation with freshman point guard Marcus Schroeder. These recordings are exclusive to princetonbasketball.com. If you're interested in inside access like this all season long, please consider becoming a donor.

As a special thank you to all of the princetonbasketball.com donors who have renewed with us for the 2006-2007 season, we're pleased to offer an exclusive audio archive of Bill Bradley's final night as a Princeton Tiger - the 1965 NCAA consolation game against Wichita State in which Bradley scored a NCAA tournament record 58 points.
The Tigers defeated the Shockers 118-82, setting four school records that still stand to this day. Bradley was a ridiculous 22-29 from the field and a stellar 14-15 at the free throw line.

I'd love to see Princeton schedule more women's/men's doubleheaders, especially for non-conference games.

Center left, dark vest, white shirt, moustache - Bill Cowher.
(Oh for a zoom lens.)

ESPNU doesn't skimp on chairs.

I have been spotted.

I have had J.J. Jumper sit on my wife.

I have made peace with J.J. Jumper by getting him/it to respect my wedding ring.

Ok, this might be the cutest thing ever.

Though it might be this.

Someone might want to tell the chef that Judson Wallace's senior night was last season.

Scott Greenman joins WPRB after the game.

More from the all-white hotel.

Across the street from our hotel.

Practice what you preach.

Postgame battle for Greenman family supremacy.

On the drive back from New Haven, roughly five seconds after my mom said "we're making great time!" and I reminded her of the incredible power of sports jinxes, something bounced up off the road and severed our driver-side mirror off. May this be a lesson to all of you that say things like "he hasn't missed a free throw all night!" or "They can't lose now!"

Brown's gameplan was thorough.

Free travel mug night!

The box score says there were 1,001 people in attendance and I'd argue that the official numbers are missing a decimal point. I don't want to say there weren't people at the game, but the Brown student section could have driven to the gym in the same car. It was an antiseptic environment in which to watch a septic basketball game.

That they did.

I don't want to say Harvard's gameplan was poor, but...

Columbia's fancy "return entry" hand stamp.

The inaugural class of the Columbia Athletics Hall Of Fame.

"Nobody's phatter than Mike Strittmatter."

Behind the Princeton bench, a Columbia fan shooting baskets attached at the waist by a rope to a second Columbia fan shooting baskets at the other end of the court. Isn't this the sort of thing that got Abu Ghraib shut down?

The game was more exciting than this child might indicate.

The pennant from the previous night's reception made a repeat appearance in Hanover.

Upon closer inspection we discovered that the previous occupants of our hotel room had covered each of the stickers beneath the sprinklers...

...with halves of peanut butter crackers.

Because of the snow (24" in Hartford?!) we stayed an extra day in New Hampshire, warmed by the fake fireplace.
