The Princeton Athletic Department concludes its interview series from the Tigers' recent Elite Camp. Here are conversations with new head coach Mitch Henderson and Lake Forest Academy assistant Kyle Koncz.

In advance of the NBA Draft, a story about "good soldier" Steve Goodrich.

On Friday I hoped that there might be more videos to come from the individual who has been posting short Princeton highlights from the late 1980s. Wish granted!

Above you'll see Bob Scrabis (#34) finding Alan Williams (#24) for a bucket and the foul in the Tigers' 89-70 loss versus Seton Hall at South Mountain Arena early in the 1986-87 season. Mike Harnum (#30), Joe Scott (#4) and John Thompson III (#22) are also on the floor for the orange and black.

Wednesday News:

Mitch Henderson is laying the groundwork for glory at Princeton.

Shooting guard Jack Earley apparently had a very good showing at Princeton's Elite Camp this week. You can lean more about this 2012 prospect on his website.

These basketball camps are excellent opportunities for the Tiger coaching staff to get a closer look at players who have piqued their interest. Multiple recruits in the 2011 and 2010 recruiting classes were Princeton Elite Camp attendees.

Denver head coach Joe Scott also discusses the importance of holding these camps and gives a good summary of their benefits.

Princeton recruit Clay Wilson made five three pointers and was Oklahoma's MVP at the Faith 7 Basketball Bowl.

Sydney Johnson got his wish and Fairfield will play UConn this December.

Friday News:

The demotion of Will Venable did not last long. Less than three weeks after being shipped to AAA Tucson, Venable was recalled by the San Diego Padres.

Alex Wolff will be honored by the Basketball Hall of Fame with the 2011 Curt Gowdy Media Award. Congratulations, Alex!

A book by Kevin "Moon" Mullin will hopefully help student-athletes find their way.

A South Jersey guard lists Princeton among the schools that are recruiting him.

This photo gallery of college coaches to visit prep school Northfield Mount Hermon includes several familiar faces. There are 11 NMH alums on tentative 2011-12 Ivy rosters.



Saturday News:

It is official that Northwestern will compete in the 2011 Charleston Classic. When the Wildcats head to South Carolina, former Rutgers head coach Fred Hill will be on the bench - filling the spot that opened up when Mitch Henderson left for Princeton.

The Tigers are among the programs who have reportedly offered a senior forward from Minnesota.

Princeton recruit Denton Koon made the MBCA Missouri Challenge's All-Tournament team.

Next Saturday you can catch future Tiger Clay Wilson playing for Team Oklahoma at the Faith 7 basketball game.

Georgetown head coach John Thompson III remains the highest paid employee on the Hilltop.

Former Princeton player David Rosenberg will be inducted into the Vineland High School hall of fame on Monday.

Will Venable has seen his batting average at AAA Tuscon drop to .194.

Venable and Chris Young both made Tim Kurkjian's MLB All-Hoops Team.



Thursday News:

The Princeton Packet writes about last week's dedication of a field at Blakely Park in memory of Christian "Crunch" Regulski. The entire Tigers coaching staff was present at this event.

Harold Camping might have been right! Princeton men's basketball is now on Twitter. One of the first things their account shared was a photo of this year's seniors at graduation.

Houston Baptist signed a swingman who was recruited by Princeton and several other Ivies.

For Will Venable, mom knows best.



Saturday News:

Kareem Maddox was honored at Friday night's Princeton Varsity Club banquet as a recipient of the William Winston Roper Trophy. Maddox is the first basketball player to earn this award since Will Venable in 2005 and he shares this distinction with four other male Tiger student-athletes.

Princeton recruit Denton Koon represents Kansas City at today's MBCA Missouri Challenge.

Will Venable homered twice and was 3-5 at the plate in Tucson's 11-1 win over the Salt Lake Bees.



Tuesday News:

A slumping Will Venable was demoted to AAA Tucson to improve his technique.

Princeton recruit Bobby Garbade was on the Seton Catholic Central golf team that captured the Section 4 Class C title.
