Monday News:

13 points for Judson Wallace, but Benetton was nipped by Air Avellino, 82-80.

Year two in Corvallis under Craig Robinson began for Oregon State with a 94-53 exhibition cruise past Southern Oregon.

Princeton's first opponent, Central Michigan, made short work of Marygrove in their initial exhibition game, 85-38.



Friday News:

Oregon State was picked fifth in the Pac-10 media poll. Cal, who Princeton will face on November 29th, was predicted to win the conference.

The Sporting News has Georgetown 11th in their College Basketball Countdown.

Sydney Johnson - Ivy League Preseason Media Teleconference.

The Ivy League held its Men's Basketball Preseason Media Teleconference this morning, with all eight coaches answering questions from media.

The portion of today's Q&A with Princeton coach Sydney Johnson is available above. An mp3 of the full event should be available on the Ivy League web site later this afternoon.

A second teleconferences will take tentatively take place in mid-January.



Tuesday News:

Yahoo! Sports has posted an in-depth team report for Princeton.

This morning Denver was picked to finish second in the Sun Belt's West Division by the conference's coaches. Pioneer Nate Rohnert was named First Team 2009 Preseason All-Sun Belt.

Georgetown hopes to rebound from last season's disappointment.

The Princeton Athletic Department has posted a video interview with Tiger head coach Sydney Johnson.

The Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame induct former Tiger Mike Bechtold into their ranks on November 9th.

Georgetown held an open practice for members of the Hoya Hoop Club.

Former Hoya guard Jessie Sapp is profiled on BET's "He Got Game" web series.

Richmond was picked to finish third in the Atlantic-10 preseason poll.

Benetton remained undefeated with an 86-84 win over Scavolini Judson Wallace had 13 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.

A Massachusetts guard who Princeton "showed interest" in has committed to Boston University.



Wednesday News:

Today is Big East Media Day. The 16 conference coaches have picked Georgetown to finish fifth in the league. Hoya center Greg Monroe was named to the 2009-10 Preseason All-Big East First Team.
