Douglas Davis on Sports Illustrated cover.

I missed this during the travel to/from Tampa, but Sports Illustrated published their annual NCAA Tournament photo montage on the cover of this week's issue. Underneath the right wrist of Duke's Nolan Smith is Princeton's Douglas Davis.

Can you name the last time a Tiger basketball player was on the cover of SI?

Supplemental NCAA Tournament pictures.

Upon returning home to New Jersey, I was sent several additional NCAA Tournament photos that are worth sharing. These images help add color from inside the St. Pete Times Forum for those who were only able to watch on CBS.

There are also a pair of quality photo galleries from the Kentucky game and the Ivy League playoff here and here.

A chance to say goodbye.

It is Friday morning in Tampa and I find myself waking up still genuinely moved by Sydney Johnson's gesture after Princeton's loss to Kentucky.

Johnson allowed his team a chance to say goodbye publicly to their fans. Now it is your opportunity to return the favor. Either in the comments below or via email feel free to send a message for Bobby Foley, Dan Mavraides and Kareem Maddox.

I'll make sure they are delivered to the basketball staff next week.
