Penn (3-14 / 2-1) survived four shots by Dartmouth (3-15 / 0-5) in the final 15 seconds of a 53-51 Quaker win.
It was a happy return to Philadelphia for Chris Mooney as Richmond (17-6) won on Hawk Hill for the first time, 68-58 over St. Joe's.
Georgetown (16-5) was in control of their game against South Florida going into halftime, but the Bulls came out of the locker room on a 26-9 run and stunned the Hoyas, 72-64.
