How about Northwestern (6-1)? The Wildcats destroyed DePaul 63-36. Kevin Coble scored 25 points and was named the Waldo Fisher-Frank McGrath Most Valuable Player for a second time.

Richmond (5-3) got past Delaware State, 76-66.

Oregon State (1-5) fell at Iowa State.

Around the Ivy League: New Hampshire rallied from down 14 in the second half against Brown (3-5). Harvard (4-2) downed Colgate, 67-64. Yale (2-5) lost 83-74 on Staten Island to Wagner.
