Princeton and Evansville both issued press releases trumpeting their teams' inclusion in the CBI.

As Spring Break ends, the Yale Daily News and the Daily Pennsylvanian catch up on Princeton's victories over their respective schools.

Third seed Georgetown drew Belmont in the Midwest region of the NCAA Tournament bracket.

12th-seeded Harvard will play Vanderbilt in the NCAA Tournament. The Commodores have an ace up their sleeve when they scout the Crimson for an East region pairing: The best friend of senior Lance Goulbourne is Doug Davis.

On the same day the Crimson's postseason pairing was announced, an elite big man declared he would be going to Harvard after a post grad year.

Northwestern fell short of the NCAAs and will instead host an NIT game.

For the third time in four years, Oregon State is playing in the CBI.

Denver was snubbed by the NIT and concluded their season at 22 victories without a postseason trip.

The year is also over for Richmond.

At the Pac-12 Tournament it will be Oregon State versus Washington State.

Like so many teams, Denver is now playing the waiting game.

The Beavers' Doug Stewart is apparently a candidate for the Brown job.

The Daily Princetonian, the Daily News and Ivy Hoops Online preview tonight's game.

The final Ivy League Men's Basketball Weekly Release of the season includes Ian Hummer on the Honor Roll.

It was looking decent for Fairfield (19-14) in the championship game of the MAAC Tournament at halftime. The Stags were up four and playing well. The second half however was a brutal defensive struggle where Sydney Johnson's team missed their first 13 attempts from the floor. Three tying shots in the final 1:08 went off the mark and it was Loyola (Md.) advancing to the NCAAs, 48-44. A postseason bid of some fashion is expected.

How about Fairfield against Yale in the CBI or CIT?

Denver (22-9) was knocked out of the Sun Belt semifinals by Western Kentucky, 67-63. Senior guard Brian Stafford had a look for three behind a screen down two with five seconds to go and Royce O'Neale's putback was then blocked. The Hilltoppers sealed the result at the line.

Richmond plays at La Salle tonight to open defense of their conference tournament title. Spiders guard Kendall Anthony is the Atlantic 10's Rookie of the Year.

Bill Carmody talks about Northwestern's NCAA chances.

The Wildcats' John Shurna was named first team All-Big Ten, finishing the season as the conference's leading scorer.

For Georgetown, a brawl in China forged their team's unity. Hoya senior Jason Clark was honored with the Big East's Sportsmanship Award.

The Ivy League is still growing.

Congratulations to Marcus Schroeder, who is headed to the NCAA tournament for the first time as Saint Mary's graduate assistant. The Gaels won the West Coast Conference tournament in overtime, knocking off Gonzaga. It was good to see a smiling Schroeder celebrating on the floor after the final buzzer.

While at Princeton, Pete Hegseth was a polarizing figure.

There are great eBay auctions full of rare memorabilia, and then there is this.

Jesse Agel is out at Brown. A decision was made to not renew his contract.

While it may drive me nuts when Princeton players call me "Mr. Solomon," I accept that am an adult.

Yet on Saturday afternoon at the conclusion of the Northwestern/Iowa game from which you can watch highlights above, I found myself lying face down on my living room floor at the base of my television like a petulant child throwing a tantrum, fists pounding on the ground unable to take the emotional torture that the Wildcats have pulled me through this season anymore.

...and this was after they won.

Utah vs. Oregon State - 10:00 pm ET

Down by double digits for most of the night, Northwestern (17-12) staged a ferocious rally against #10 Ohio State. Alex Marcotullio's deep three pointer from the top of the key tied the game at 73 in the waning moments as Welsh-Ryan Arena went berserk. Jared Sullinger spun inside to put the Buckeyes up once more with three ticks remaining and in his final regular season home game John Shurna's half court shot caught only the front of the rim at the buzzer. It was devastating. The Wildcats were outrebounded 44-18.

I can't lie - I was so nervous when I got home late in the second half I couldn't bring myself to watch until the final 20 seconds.

Richmond (16-15) knocked off Dayton on Senior Night, 82-71.

In a meeting between former Tigers of different generations, Judson Wallace scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds as FC Barcelona defeated the Dave Blatt-coached Tel Aviv side in a Euroleague match. Both teams will advance to the playoff rounds, with Wallace's team going undefeated.

Now on his fourth hitting coach, Will Venable is looking to improve his swing.

The Mets are keeping in touch with Chris Young but the oft-injured free agent wants a Major League contract.

Look! It is Armond Hill on the red carpet for the Harold Pump Foundation Gala.

Oregon State hosts Utah.

Around the Ivy League: Penn (17-11 / 9-2) stunned Harvard (24-4 / 10-2) by one to move half a game back of the first place Crimson. Brown (8-21 / 2-10) exploded for 14 three pointers in a 94-78 rout over Columbia (14-14 / 3-9). On senior night Yale (19-7 / 9-3) decimated Cornell (11-15 / 6-6), 71-40.
