A trophy also went to Richmond (6-1), winners of the South Padre Island Invitational. The Spiders defeated Missouri in the championship game, 59-52.

In front of President Barack Obama, George Washington was handed their first defeat of the season courtesy of the visitors from Oregon State (2-3).

Georgetown (4-0) remained undefeated with a 97-44 win over Lafayette. Six Hoyas scored in double figures.

Denver (4-1) won by three at South Dakota State.

Princeton recruit T.J. Bray scored 15 points as Catholic Memorial beat up on Muskego. Another future Tiger, Ben Hazel, had 10 points in Good Counsel's first victory of the season.

In a game that saw neither team make a three point shot, Drexel defeated Penn (0-4) by a 58-49 count.
