Northwestern (11-5) let a chance to win in regulation slip by and fell 71-67 at Michigan State in overtime.
Mercer (6-13) dropped their fourth straight, 70-67 versus Manor.
Jared Cunningham scored a career high 24 as Oregon State (8-9) held off USC, 80-76.
The seventh consecutive Denver (9-9) victory was a 79-70 overtime win over Florida International in front of a record home crowd. The Pioneers improved to 5-0 in the Sun Belt.
Princeton recruit Bobby Garbade shook off a fever for a huge game in Seton CC's victory over previously undefeated Norwich.

Oregon State (7-9) rallied from 17 down to lead UCLA by two with under three minutes left. The Bruins then scored the game's last seven points as the Beavers missed a pair of free throws and consecutive backdoor layups for a 62-57 final.
Rhode Island nipped Richmond (13-4), pulling out a 78-74 decision.
Mercer (6-12) lost by three to Brookdale.
Rutgers coach Mike Rice doesn't think his team struggled defending the "Princeton" style. They struggled defending Dan Mavraides.

An afternoon that began with a bus accident didn't get any better once Lyndon State arrived at Brown (6-7). The Bears led by 36 at the half and cruised to the 88-55 final.
