Is Will Venable too slow to play center field in the pros or is he like "a young Jim Edmonds?" Padres' vice president of scouting and development Grady Fuson thinks the answer is the latter. Venable hit his 12th home run of the season in Portland's 4-1 loss to Albuquerque.

Chris Young tells The Temecula Valley News about how his rehab stint with the Lake Elsinore Storm helped prepare him for his return to the major leagues.
