Chris Young and the San Diego Padres host division rivals Los Angeles tonight at 10:05 pm ET. The Padres are a half game behind the Dodgers in the NL West standings.

Georgetown center Roy Hibbert has been invited to participate in the USA Basketball Men's Pan American Games Team Trials at Haverford College in July.



Monday News:

Will Venable was 1-3 with a walk in a 3-2 San Antonio loss to Arkansas on Saturday. Venable went 2-4 on Sunday in a 6-5 Missions victory. His average is back up to .291.

5-23 UC Davis will be switching to the "Princeton offense" this season.

"We really took all the information that we collected from the transition period and made a critical analysis of that information. And then, [we] did that with last season as well and came up with definitive ideas as to how we are going to proceed," said head coach Gary Stewart. "We really feel like we have something that fits our program and gives us the best chance to be successful long-term, something that we can tweak but don't have to blow up and start over. We've got something that we can recruit to, that we can coach to, that we feel more comfortable about."
