New Recruit - Clay Wilson.

It only took two days for forward Denton Koon to have company in Princeton's 2011 recruiting class.

Joining him is a true gym rat, 6'3" guard Clay Wilson from Lincoln Christian School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Wilson made his intentions known yesterday that he will attend Princeton next fall pending admission.

Today I talked with Wilson's high school coach Teddy Owens about this gifted shooter. Exclusive quotes, numerous videos and an assortment of articles and evaluations can be found after the jump.

Ed Persia interview.

Two weeks ago Ed Persia '04 was home in Texas, sending out resumes and trying to land a coaching job.

A lot can change in two weeks.

When I caught Persia on the phone today, he had just finished his first day teaching at Cherokee High School in Cherokee, North Carolina, where he was recently named the Braves' new men's basketball coach.

The former Princeton guard, who sits 8th in the Tiger record books with 144 made three pointers for his career, took the time to answer questions about his new gig and his life since leaving Princeton. Our interview can be found after the jump.

Princeton's first publicly-revealed member of its 2011 recruiting class is versatile 6'7", 200+ lb forward Denton Koon from Liberty Senior High School - located just north of Kansas City, Missouri. According to KC Prep Hoops, Koon settled on Princeton over offers from Bradley, UMKC and Yale.

This afternoon I had the chance to speak with both Koon's high school head coach Roger Stirtz and former Liberty assistant coach Chris McCabe, who helped develop Koon his first three years in high school.
