The Dartmouth provides the Big Green's side of Saturday's game.
For the third time this year, Princeton's athletic department was nice enough to update this season's plus/minus numbers.
This handy chart shows the number of minutes played by each Tiger this season and the difference in points scored by the team while each player was on the floor versus points allowed by the Tigers during the same span.
Individual single game highs and lows have not changed. Douglas Davis was +39 against Goucher and Pawel Buczak was -23 at Cal.
The most successful lineup combination is still the one that has played the most minutes together. Marcus Schroeder, Dan Mavraides, Pawel Buczak, Douglas Davis and Patrick Saunders are +41 in 145:00 of court time.
The least successful five? Lake, Schroeder, Zach Finley, Mavraides and Buczak, combining to go -19 in 20:04 of play.
Finley has jumped from -6 to +19 after four Ivy games.
Schroeder improved from +59 to a team-best +114 during this stretch.
Around the Ivy League: Cornell (20-3 / 6-0) needed to close on a 16-4 run to stop Brown (7-16 / 1-5), 74-60. Yale (9-14 / 3-3) took a 19 point halftime lead and coasted past Columbia (8-12 / 2-4). Harvard (15-5 / 4-2) mixed up their starting lineup and raced by Penn (3-15 / 2-2), 80-66.
Postgame audio - Ian Hummer & Pawel Buczak:
Letdown to shutdown.
After a uninspired first half rightfully put Princeton down 21-19 on the road at Dartmouth, a stellar defensive performance was the spark.
The Tigers outscored the Big Green 35-15 before the benches emptied, on their way to their largest margin of victory in Hanover since 1998.
"You have to bring your energy and focus every time out," said Princeton head coach Sydney Johnson. "I did think that missing a few chippies and some threes let us settle into a funk and thankfully we were able to get out of that at halftime."
One night after limiting Harvard to 36.0% shooting, Dartmouth connected at a similar 36.4% clip.
Ian Hummer scored a team-best 11 off the bench and while Kareem Maddox did not have the same impact in the scoring column that he did one night previous versus Harvard, he did grab nine boards, hand out three assists and block two shots. The length of both players caused Dartmouth fits once Princeton’s defensive adjustments limited the Big Green’s drives.
"We knew coming out of halftime that we had to play with more energy and be more aggressive," said senior center Pawel Buczak, who scored seven points after the break. "Once we started out quickly in the second half it just kept going."

Here's a Princeton Packet article published prior to the Harvard/Dartmouth weekend.
Around the Ivy League: Cornell (19-3 / 5-0) stayed perfect in the conference, beating Yale (8-14 / 2-3) by a 90-71 score. Columbia (8-11 / 2-3) rallied for a 65-54 win over Brown (7-15 / 1-4). Penn (3-14 / 2-1) survived four shots by Dartmouth (3-15 / 0-5) in the final 15 seconds of a 53-51 Quaker win.
Postgame audio - Coach Sydney Johnson, Kareem Maddox, Marcus Schroeder & Dan Mavraides:
The question came last, from the back of the abandoned locker room turned into a makeshift press conference location.
It was directed at senior co-captain Marcus Schroeder, after Princeton's unexpected 56-53 win at Harvard to improve to 3-0 in Ivy League play.
How had things changed since his first year as a Tiger?
Schroeder danced around an answer before settling on a satisfactory sentence.
"I don't think it is time to look back yet. We have some more work to take care of."
That work includes 11 more Ivy contests, which Schroeder hopes will turn out the same way tonight's game did.
Jeremy Lin's deep three point shot at the buzzer came up short of the mark and Princeton was able to escape a hostile Lavietes Pavilion with the victory - the first team to beat Harvard at home this year.
Junior forward Kareem Maddox, who was part of a team defensive effort that troubled Lin into 6-16 shooting, scored a season high 14 off the bench, finishing three different backdoor lobs from Schroeder.
"Kareem does a great job of cutting and he's long," Schroeder said. "I just kind of lob it up there and he does of a good job of going and getting it and then he takes his time and finishes it."
Dan Mavraides also had 14 for Princeton, including a three from the far corner off an inbounds pass from Schroeder that put the Tigers up 47-33 with 4:55 to go.
A furious Crimson comeback ended with Lin pulling up from several steps behind the arc and hoisting a shot that bounded harmlessly off the front rim.
Lin finished with 19, but had difficulty finding unobstructed paths to the basket throughout the night.
princetonbasketball.com was founded on April 28th, 1998 in an attempt to provide fans of the Princeton Tigers and Ivy League basketball with the best on-line source for up-to-date news and information. We have since expanded to launch a companion site, Georgetown Basketball News.
As these sites have continued to grow we have increased our coverage to include additional teams with Princeton connections - the Richmond Spiders, Denver Pioneers, Oregon State Beavers, Fairfield Stags and Mercer County Community College Vikings - plus former Tigers playing professional baseball and basketball all over the world. This site is not directly affiliated with the Friends of Princeton Basketball, Princeton University or the Princeton athletic department.
