The Trenton Times is the first to mention a local recruit that Princeton has interest in.

Congratulations to Joe Scott, who recorded his 100th victory as a head coach in a 63-44 Denver (11-12) victory over Louisiana-Lafayette.

Richmond (12-10) fell to St. Louis 64-55. The Billikens finished the game on an 18-6 run.

Jonathan Wallace and Georgetown host Villanova tonight.

Georgetown (19-3) scored just 20 points in the second half, and the Hoyas were trumped by Louisville 59-51.

Another game effort, another Big Ten loss for Northwestern (7-14), who played Michigan State tight but the Spartans pulled away down the stretch of a 70-55 victory.

Denver hosts Louisiana-Lafayette in a battle for first place in the Sun Belt Conference West Division.

Richmond hosts St. Louis this afternoon.

Around the Ivy League: Yale (9-11 / 3-3) throttled Dartmouth (8-12 / 1-5) to the tune of 97-58. Cornell (14-5 / 6-0) stayed perfect in league play, beating Penn (7-14 / 2-2) for the first time in 18 games, 87-74. Brown (12-8 / 4-2) made quick work of Harvard (6-16 / 1-5) in Providence, 71-51.

Like the deflections at critical junctures of the second half they could not control, a victory slipped through Princeton's fingers on Saturday night at Columbia.

The Lions rallied for a 58-53 win that sent the Tigers home winless from their weekend in New York State.

Niko Scott led Columbia with 12 points. John Baumann scored 10 in the first half for the Lions, but did not attempt a field goal after intermission.

Lincoln Gunn was the game's high man, tallying 17 on 7-13 shooting. Noah Savage added 12 and Kyle Koncz had 11 in defeat.

Columbia (9-11 / 2-3) handed Penn (7-13 / 2-1) its first conference loss, defeating the Quakers 74-58. Yale (8-11 / 2-3) defeated Harvard (6-15 / 1-4) for the ninth straight time at Lee Amphitheater, 83-70.

Ryan Wittman scored a game-high 20 points and seven foot transfer center Jeff Foote added a career-best 18, including nine straight in a key first half stretch, as Cornell pulled away from Princeton for a 72-61 win on Friday night in Ithaca.

Senors Kyle Koncz and Kevin Steuerer paced Princeton in defeat. Koncz connected on five three point shots, racking up 19 points, and Steuerer added a career-high 17.

Lincoln Gunn makes the Honor Roll on the latest Ivy Weekly Basketball Awards. Gunn was 9-19 from three point range and averaged 17 points, four rebounds and two assists over the weekend.

The Daily Princetonian has a weekend wrapup, The Dartmouth reviews the Big Green's 0-2 trip to the Delaware Valley and there are two articles in The Crimson about Harvard's loss to the Tigers.

Northwestern (7-12) played #11 Indiana tough, but ultimately fell 75-63.

A brief programming note: I'll be taking my annual two day anniversary vacation from now until Wednesday night. Unless there's some breaking news that can't wait, you're on your own between now and then.
