The Scott Greenman-coached USA Juniors Team remained undefeated at the Maccabiah Games with a 81-28 victory over Argentina. If the United States can defeat Azerbaijan today, they will advance to tomorrow's gold medal game. Greenman is interviewed about his return to Israel in today's Atlantic City Press.

I received an advance copy yesterday of Kathy Orton's book "Outside the Limelight: Basketball in the Ivy League" and immediately read it cover-to-cover. The book, which chronicles the 2005-06 Ivy season, is worthwhile reading for anyone interested in Ivy League basketball. You can preorder using the link above. Judson Wallace will not be following Carril to Vegas. Wallace had his contract with Benetton Treviso renewed with an buy-out clause if the NBA comes calling, but he will pass on the 2009 Summer League.
