Oregon State (6-1) continued their strong start with a 71-46 win over Montana.

Derek Needham and Rakim Sanders equally split 38 points as Fairfield (5-4) won their second conference game in as many tries, 68-59 versus Canisius.

In the words of Bill Carmody, his Northwestern (7-1) team got "smacked pretty good." #7 Baylor blitzed the Wildcats 69-41, holding them to 24% shooting for the game.

Around the Ivy League: Harvard (8-0) remained undefeated with an 80-70 win over Seattle. Making 14 more three pointers, Columbia (5-4) wrapped up a successful West Coast trip 78-56 over La Sierra.

Cornell (3-5) triumphed over Lehigh in overtime by two. Penn (4-5) could not climb all the way out of a deep halftime hole, losing to Villanova 73-65. Making 12 of their 17 three point attempts Columbia (4-4) won again out west, 72-57 against North Texas.
