Oregon State visits Oregon in the 331st Civil War.

Princeton recruit Jimmy Sherburne led Whitefish Bay to the North Shore Conference title.

Brendan Connolly and Father Ryan lost 61-44 in the TSSAA Division II-AA state championship game. Connolly finished with 18 points and 16 rebounds.

Around the Ivy League: Harvard (13-13 / 5-7) surprised Cornell (19-9 / 9-3), 71-70. Dartmouth (9-17 / 7-5) defeated Columbia (11-15 / 6-6) behind 22 from Alex Barnett. Penn (9-16 / 5-6) scored the last 11 points of a 64-54 win over Brown (7-19 / 1-11).

Strong guard play helped Richmond (14-13) win its third straight, 65-58 over Charlotte.

The nightmare is over! For the first time in 44 tries, Denver (13-14) tasted victory on the road. The Pioneers beat Arkansas State by 20.

Oregon State (13-13) shot an unreal 70.8% from the floor in the second half, defeating Cal, 65-54. Oregon Live thinks Craig Robinson has sewn up the Pac-10 Coach of the Year award.

Northwestern visits Minnesota tonight.

Princeton recruit Mack Darrow had 14 points and nine boards, but Barrington lost for the 21st time this season.

Around the Ivy League: Cornell (18-8 / 8-2) demolished Brown (7-17 / 1-9), 85-45. Yale (11-13 / 6-4) came back from nine down with 14 minutes to play, picking up a 57-49 win over Columbia (11-13 / 6-4). Harvard (11-13 / 3-7) won at Penn (8-15 / 4-5) for the first time since 1991, defeating the Quakers 66-60.

John Shurna's three point shot with three seconds to go gave Northwestern (14-10) a much-needed 72-69 win over Ohio State. Shurna was on an IV before the game, recovering from the flu. Highlights are above.

Princeton recruit Brendan Connolly is on a tear, following up his 30 point night with 38 as Father Ryan stunned host Ensworth by two in the DII East/Middle championship game.

Richmond (13-13) bested La Salle by nine. The Explorers were baffled by the Spiders' smothering defense.

Georgetown (14-10) blew out South Florida, 65-40. It was the Hoyas' first road victory in Big East play since the conference opener at UConn.

Denver hosts Louisiana-Lafayette.

Last night's loss by Northwestern (13-9) still smarts. The Wildcats led for all but the final two seconds and had a nine point lead with just over two minutes left, but collapsed under Illinois' pressure.

Oregon State (10-13) trailed by just one at #24 Washington halfway through yesterday's game, but the Huskies came on strong for the 79-60 win.

Denver (10-14) fell by six at Florida Atlantic.

Princeton recruit Jimmy Sherburne scored 24 points as Whitefish Bay defeated Germantown 67-57.

Richmond (12-12) got back in the win column, 71-67 over Duquesne. The Spiders rallied from a 15 point first half deficit.

Northwestern hosts in-state rival Illinois. It is the only regular season meeting between the two schools.

#24 Washington is the latest destination for Oregon State. The Beavers are earning respect in the Pac-10.

Denver tries to end their 42 game road losing streak at Florida Atlantic.

The Ivy League has named Robin Harris the Executive Director of the Council of Ivy Group Presidents, effective July 1. Harris replaces the retiring Jeff Orleans.

Congratulations to Princeton recruit Will Barrett (above), who is one of 1,500 national nominees for McDonald’s All-American status.

Pete Carril and Gary Walters will both be inducted into the Berks Basketball Hall of Fame on Tuesday night.

Georgetown (13-9) fell to Cincinnati in overtime. The Hoyas had one field goal in the final 12 minutes of play.

Northwestern (13-8) was up one with a minute to go at Iowa, but Devan Bawinkel hit a three pointer to give the Hawkeyes their final lead. To make the Wildcats' loss slightly more painful, Jeff Peterson scored 16 to pace the home team.

Oregon State (10-11) lost a low-scoring game to perhaps their toughest conference matchup, #23 Arizona State.

Beavers head coach Craig Robinson is a presenter at tonight's 57th annual Oregon Sports Awards.

Mercer (12-11) lost 74-64 at Harcum.

Denver (10-13) dropped a nine point decision at UALR, 66-57.

Richmond goes for the season sweep against St. Louis this afternoon.

Around the Ivy League: Jeremy Lin made a free throw with no time left, as Harvard (10-10 / 2-4) rallied to defeat Brown (6-14 / 0-6) by one. Cornell (15-7 / 5-1) got back on track with an 88-73 win over Penn (5-13 / 1-3). Don't look now, but Dartmouth (6-14 / 4-2) has won three straight. The Big Green bested Yale (8-13 / 2-3) in Hanover, 57-54.
