Around the Ivy League: Brown (0-1) lost by two at Rhode Island. Columbia (1-0) won on Fordham's floor, 65-62. Cornell (1-0) opened at home with a 79-69 win over South Dakota, Ryan Wittman leading the way with 25 points. Stanford slowly pulled away from Yale (0-1) at a sold out John J. Lee Amphitheater, 75-67.
