Monday News:

The Daily Princetonian rapidly reviews the Tigers games during the school's holiday break.

Denver (7-7) raced past UT-San Antonio, 75-50. The Pioneers are 3-1 in WAC play.

Bill Carmody had Northwestern (9-6) utilize almost all of every possession at #9 Minnesota. It worked for a while, as the Wildcats trailed 19-18 early into the second half. A 23-5 run over the next seven minutes gave the Golden Gophers comfort the rest of the way.

Leading by six at the break, Oregon State (10-4) was outscored 51-32 in the second half of their conference-opening loss to Oregon.

Around the Ivy League: Cornell (7-9) won 68-60 at American. Florida visited Yale (5-11) and came away with a 79-58 decision.

What is the back story to Florida playing at Yale? It is rare to see a major program play true road games at Ivy schools.

It is part of a two-for-one deal, with the Bulldogs visiting Gainsville twice (last year and either next year or two years from now).

The game was supposed to be a homecoming game for Florida senior Erik Murphy, who didn't play due to bruised ribs. See link below.
