From the Sippin' On Purple article about Mitch Henderson as a potential candidate for the NW head coach: "Mitch Henderson imprinted himself in the annals of March Madness with a backdoor layup with 4 seconds remaining to fell UCLA in the opening round of the '96 tourney." I think they are sippin' on something else . . . or maybe they really meant to write an article about Gabe Lewullis' potential candidacy to be the next NW HC.

Never too early to look ahead. Any foundation for the speculation that Miami and Butler may appear on the Tigers' schedule next season?

I know there's been interest in scheduling the latter in recent years but nothing had materialized.

Will be putting up a "This Is Next Year" thread next week. Perhaps we should save such tidbits for that/then?
